Most of our work is domestic, fitting air conditioning into the rooms homeowners actually struggle to keep comfortable rather than treating the whole house.
Garden rooms and home offices are the most common. They tend to be poorly insulated, glazed on one side and unbearable by mid-afternoon in summer, while being expensive to heat in winter. One unit handles both.

For most homes we recommend wall mounted units. They are efficient, quiet, quick to install and far less disruptive than ducted or cassette systems, which usually makes them the most sensible option in a domestic property.
Ducted and cassette units suit properties where the unit needs to be concealed, and we are happy to fit them where the building allows.

The cost of an air conditioning installation depends on the number of rooms, the type and size of unit and how far the pipework has to run between the indoor and outdoor units.
A single wall mounted unit in one room is a straightforward job. Multiple rooms, ducted systems or difficult pipe routes take longer and are priced accordingly.
We survey the property first, then provide a fixed written quote covering the full installation. The price we quote is the price you pay, with no extras added once work has started.

What To Avoid
Common issues with poor installations
Air conditioning is only as good as the installation behind it. A unit that is undersized, badly positioned or incorrectly commissioned will never perform the way it should, however good the equipment is.
Refrigerant work also has to be carried out by F-Gas registered engineers. It is a legal requirement, and it is worth checking before you let anyone fit a system in your home.

Every installation is backed by our two year workmanship guarantee, alongside the manufacturer warranty on the unit itself, which varies by brand and typically runs from two to ten years.
We recommend an annual service to keep the system running efficiently and to keep your manufacturer warranty valid. We do not offer maintenance plans at the moment, but servicing can be booked with us directly each year.
We also carry out air conditioning repairs, so if something does go wrong you are dealing with the same team that installed the system rather than starting again with someone new.

Do you service and repair air conditioning as well as install it?
Yes. We carry out servicing and repairs alongside installation. We recommend an annual service to keep the system running efficiently and to protect your manufacturer warranty. We do not currently offer maintenance plans, but annual servicing can be booked directly with us.
